Yamakodachi means small mountain sword, and this is the compact member of the hori family. It keeps the serrated and straight edges of the full-size knife in a shorter, lighter body that weighs about 0.22 kg, small enough to live in a jacket pocket or a balcony planter box.
- Short hori pattern, about 0.22 kg
- Serrated and straight edges like the full-size knife
- Wood handle, black sheath included
- Easy to carry every day

Tip from the peg wall
Short blades lose leverage, so loosen around a root before you lift instead of prying straight up.
