The NJP651 takes the classic hori pattern and hardens it to HRC58, the toughest stainless blade in the Nisaku hori line. That extra hardness means the beveled edge holds longer between sharpenings, while the serrated side keeps chewing through roots. It rides in a premium leather sheath with a red wrist lanyard on the wood handle.

  • HRC58 hardened stainless steel, the hardest in the hori range
  • Concave blade with beveled slicing edge and serrated sawing edge
  • Engraved inch markers for even planting depth
  • Premium leather sheath and wrist lanyard included

Tip from the peg wall

A harder blade sharpens a little slower, so touch it up with a fine stone a few strokes at a time rather than waiting for it to go dull.
