One sharp 1.5-inch tine on a 5.5-inch polished wood handle. The single claw gets between plants where a fork cannot, loosens crusted soil around seedlings and hooks out weeds by the root without disturbing the neighbors.

Quality product for edge weeds
I needed a pick-like tool for digging into weeds along a seam in a driveway (I was always getting growth there and pulling the weeds often had them break). With this tool I can scoop into the root and pull. But that’s what it’s for, right? What I like most about this tool is that it’s a quality Japan-made tool, not a cheap worthless Chinese tool that’ll rust or break before the year’s over.
